Velcome to Snoromgård

Today ”Snoromgård" is owned by Else and Børge Friis Jensen. It is located on Gl. Ribevej 2, 7000 Fredericia. Else is a teacher in the Danish Folkeskole* in Børkop. Else comes from a farm in Staurby near Middelfart. She completed her education at Kolding Seminarium (Kolding College of Education). Later on she has extended her education at The Kempler Institute* to also include a supervisory function, which she uses in her work with children in the area of AKT (Directly translated AKT is Behaviour, Contact and Well-being. AKT-children are children who need special attention to be paid to the abovementioned areas).Børge is born on Frederia Nørremark, where there are a Shell refinery today.  Børge is a full-time farmer. He took The Basic Agricultural Education at Boris Landbrugsskole (Boris Agricultural School) and furthermore completed The Management Education at Hammerum Landbrugsskole (Hammerum Agricultural School)*. Børge has worked on different farms in “Trekantsområdet” (Trekantsområdet is an area covering the cities of Vejle, Fredericia and Kolding) and also spent a year working on two different farms in New Zealand and Canada respectively. One with focus on cultivation of crops and the other one with focus on sheep breeding. In a straight line from father to son, Børge is the 5th or 6th generation in the family working as an independent farmer.
